Steereo is Distrupting the Music Industry

Earlier this month, we made a post about Steereo which caught the eyes of Jessica from their PR company, Mark Allen & Co. When speaking with Jessica, we were able to get more in-depth information on Steereo's that you're Entitled to Know!

 

"We want people to be able to consume great music and not to be force-fed the A-list major artists who are on heavy rotation on the radio right now..." said Jennifer Cullen, one of Steereo's co-founders. The start-up has worked with both signed and un-signed artists and with major labels such as Geffen Records and Capitol Records.

With Steereo being a marketing analytics platform, this is a great new way for indie artists and managers to promote their music without having to have a huge budget. Once your music is approved as the artist, you will be charged $12.99/month. That is ONLY if you are approved. 

 

For managers looking to promote their artists, you will be charged $49.99/month. This allows you to upload however many songs from your artists as your heart desires.

So far, 13K drivers are currently using Steereo in New York and Austin with plans to expand to Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Seattle and Chicago early next year. Each driver gets paid $.03 per minute and on average are making $150 per month with the top performer making $300 per month.
